New Delhi, May 1 (Inditop.com) Some parts of the national capital experienced light rains on Saturday evening, bringing down the temperature by 6 degrees Celsius, an Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

During the day, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 40.4 degrees Celsius, one notch above average, the Met office said.

“Delhi experienced rains and thunderstorms in some parts on Saturday evening,” a IMD official said.

According to the Met office, on Sunday Delhi can expect a maximum of 41 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius with partly clouded sky and possibility of thunderstorms and rainfall.
