New Delhi, May 19 (Inditop.com) A gang that specialized in breaking into container trucks to steal motor parts has been busted here following the arrest of a man, police said Wednesday.
The man, Ram Roop, was a helper in the container carrier who along with its driver burgled motor parts while they were transported from Haryana to the Indian capital.
The man told the police that the driver, Sanjay, diverted the container to Faridabad where its seal would be broken. The driver was allegedly paid Rs.1.5 lakh.
Ram Roop was arrested a week ago in south Delhi’s Prahladpur area with some stolen motor parts. He led the police to a warehouse in Faridabad in Haryana that was found packed with more stolen goods.
