New Delhi, May 20 (Inditop.com) The mercury level may have dipped a little than the day before, yet the high humidity level made for an uncomfortably hot and sweaty start for the capital’s residents Thursday.

According to the met department, the minimum temperature recorded early Thursday was two notches above the average, at 28.7 degrees Celsius. On Wednesday, the minimum temperature was 30.5 degrees Celsius.

An official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said: “Delhi will see clear skies today (Thursday) with the maximum temperature touching 41 degrees Celsius. The weather conditions are expected to remain the same over the next few days.”

The humidity level was recorded at 49 percent.
