London, June 1 (IANS) Singer Paul McCartney was left shaken when a mob attacked his tour bus while he was returning from a concert in Mexico.
The incident took place Saturday when the 67-year-old was returning after performing at the Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City. He had to be rescued by police after the youths surrounded his vehicle.
‘At first, his security team thought it was just swarms of fans, but when people started scaling the bus, the situation changed in a flash. Paul and the team were shaken up,’ contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.
According to reports, the troublemakers left the scene as soon as they heard police sirens.
