London, June 6 (IANS) Hollywood actor Chace Crawford has been arrested for marijuana possession.
The ‘Gossip Girl’ star was arrested Friday while in a parked car in the Dallas suburb of Plano. He was booked and later released on a misdemeanor charge for possession of about 50 grams of the drug, reports femalefirst.com
‘Chace was rolling a joint. He had a little under two ounces of marijuana in a plastic bag sitting in clear view on the dashboard. He was very polite and low key in a pair of jeans and flip flops and never identified himself,’ a source said.
The maximum charge for marijuana possession in Texas, is six months in jail and a fine of up to $2,000.
