Ranchi, June 17 (IANS) Angry after being denied extortion money, Maoists torched two heavy machines in two industries and beat up some employees in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district, police said Thursday.
The incidents took place late Wednesday in Gua, around 190 km from here. According to police sources, the guerrillas were angry they were not paid extortion money they had asked.
