New Delhi, June 17 (IANS) Delhi residents faced another hot day Thursday and will have to wait a while before they get any respite, with no possibility of rain in the coming days, weather officials said.

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 41 degree Celsius and minimum temperature at 28.8 degree Celsius, both one notch above average at this time of the year.

‘There are no signs of rain for at least the next two days. The weather will remain hot though the humidity level has gone down as compared to the last month,’ an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

According to the IMD, the capital can expect maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius Friday.
