New York, June 24 (IANS) Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the infamous White House gatecrashers, are set to pen a book about the security breach that sparked a furore.

Nypost.com reports that the Salahis have teamed up with investigative reporter Diane Dimond for the book that they say will lay out ‘behind-the-scenes’ details of the November 2009 night when they went past the Secret Service and got into a state dinner for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

‘The book will reveal the truth… of who the Salahis really are… It just never added up to me that someone could sneak in, past the (security) perimeter, no less! As I began to investigate, I realised the Salahis’ story is much bigger than what’s been reported,’ said Diane who once covered the White House.

She also said that the tale has ‘genuine intrigue’ with twists that ‘can be traced right back to the White House’.
