London, June 25 (IANS) Michael Jackson’s home will be guarded by police officers on his first death anniversary.

Scores of fans are expected to visit Jackson’s family compound in Encino, California, as well as the surrounding streets throughout the weekend, therefore the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officials have decided to deploy 30 to 40 officers to patrol the house, media reports said.

MJ’s mother Katherine lives in the house with his three children.

LAPD bosses have also banned any vendors selling unauthorised tribute memorabilia in the area, as well as at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California, where Jackson, who died June 25 last year, was interred.
