New Delhi, June 28 (IANS) The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will begin its bus service from the Qutub Minar Metro station to Badarpur in south Delhi from Tuesday, an official said.

The bus service will ply from Mehrauli to Badarpur road. The service on the 14 km long route will be available for commuters from 6 a.m. to 9.20 p.m. at a frequency of 25 minutes.

‘The bus service is expected to help residents of south Delhi who commute to Gurgaon, as now they can avail the Metro services from Qutub Minar more conveniently,’ the official added.

The areas covered by the service are Ahimsa Sthal, Lado Sarai, Saket, Khanpur, Batra Hospital and Tughlaqabad.

DTC is already running a bus service from Qutub Minar to Central Secretariat at a frequency of 15 minutes.
