Los Angeles, July 4 (IANS) Actors Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf are reportedly in talks to star in crime thriller ‘Riptide’.
While Pitt is offered to play an investigator, LaBeouf will possibly play a young broker, reports aceshowbiz.com.
The story of the film revolves around a handyman, a young broker and stock broker’s girlfriend who board a ship called the Nautica. One of the men is found dead floating in the sea and the girlfriend is found at a nearby hotel. Thus, the investigator is called in to figure out what happened and why.
Pitt was last seen in ‘Inglourious Basterds’ and he also provided his voice for a character in upcoming animation ‘Megamind’. LaBeouf is currently busy shooting ‘Transformers 3’ and his movie ‘Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps’ will be released Sep 24 in the US.
