London, Aug 4 (IANS) Britons have become tired of standing in a line and some reach the end of their patience after just two minutes.
Daily Express Wednesday reported that two in five reach breaking point after queueing for barely two minutes.
A poll of 2,000 people revealed that two thirds of the respondents even give up on purchases after losing patience.
Interestingly, women were willing to queue for 12 seconds more than men.
Barclays and Barclaycard researchers said that those aged between 18 to 24 were willing to stand two minutes longer than those aged between 55 to 64.
People find food and drink outlets most frustrating and over half of the respondents said they refused to enter a supermarket if they spotted a queue at the till.
