Guwahati, Aug 10 (IANS) A Coca Cola employee on his way to a bank was gunned down on a busy road here Tuesday morning, police officials said, suspecting the involvement of Bodo militants.
Keshab Phukan was on his way to a nearby bank on the busy R.G. Baruah Road here when two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle fired indiscriminately, killing him on the spot.
The gunmen looted the cash and fled.
Police suspect that the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) militants are behind the shootout.
