Dubai, Aug 15 (IANS/WAM) The working hours of the UAE’s water bus and taxi services have been extended by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to help commuters during Ramadan.
Water buses will ply from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. instead of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., while water taxies will ply from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m., instead of 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The new schedule is for the week, RTA CEO Eisa Abdul-Rahman Al-Dosari said Sunday.
He called on the public to comply with safety and security rules applicable for water bus and water taxi services.
