London, Aug 19 (IANS) British Prime Minister David Cameron thinks that his unborn child could be a boy as it is kicking furiously and ‘has a right foot like Beckham’.

Cameron told The Sun: ‘We have had one or two moments when we thought it might have arrived already. But it is hanging on in there at the moment.’

In a lighter vein, he added: ‘We think it’s a boy because it is kicking furiously. It has got a right foot like (footballer David) Beckham.’

The Camerons don’t know the sex of the child as they want to keep ‘the element of surprise’.

‘We have been studious not to check the scans,’ Cameron was quoted as saying.

David’s wife Sam, 39, is due to give birth in September. She became pregnant in the run-up to May’s general election.

Their eldest son, six-year-old Ivan, died after battling cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

They have a daughter Nancy, six, and son Arthur, four.

The British prime minister said said he was braced for any emergency, including his baby arriving early.

‘I am getting very excited about it.’

He said that ‘there is no agreement on names’ and added that his wife will have the final say in the matter.

‘It’s like North Korean democracy. There are talks but she will decide.’
