London, Aug 29 (IANS) Socialite Paris Hilton has been arrested on charges of possessing cocaine.
Hilton was detained by police in Las Vegas Friday night after they pulled over a car in which she was a passenger, reports contactmusic.com.
Police said they found a suspicious-looking white powder in Hilton’s purse, which was tested and proved to be cocaine.
The hotel heiress was arrested and booked into the Clark County detention centre, where she was charged with possession of a contraband substance.
She was, however, released on bail.
