Manila, May 8 (Inditop) At least 10 people have been killed after a typhoon hit the northern Philippine province of Pangasinan, officials said Friday.

The Chan-Hom made landfall in the province Thursday night, killing at least 10 people and injuring 10 others, the National Disaster Coordinating Council said.

The typhoon weakened into a tropical storm as it exited out of the country Friday, it said.
