New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS) She may be India’s most powerful politician. But Congress president Sonia Gandhi admitted Tuesday that she found picking a new Congress Working Committee (CWC) a tough job.

In her concluding remarks at the All India Congress Committee meeting here, Gandhi said: ‘It is not as easy as it seems. In actuality, it is not easy.

‘There is a complaint somewhere that I have been left out… he or she has been appointed.

‘When you have reposed faith in me, somebody should be prepared to bear the loss,’ she said, evoking smiles at the gathering.

The CWC is the decision making body in the Congress. Gandhi has also been authorised by most state units to appoint state party chiefs.
