New Delhi, Dec 2 (IANS) The capital witnessed a bright, sunny day Thursday, with a nip in the air as the maximum temperature stayed a notch below the average at 24.3 degrees Celsius.

The day began on a foggy note with the minimum temperature recorded at 8.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.

The maximum humidity was recorded at 92 percent while the minimum was at 35 percent.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Friday will witness similar conditions, with light mist enveloping the city early morning, and a bright, sunny afternoon.

‘The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow (Friday) are expected to hover around 23 and 9 degrees Celsius respectively. The evening will be chilly,’ an IMD official said.
