New Delhi, May 20 (Inditop) Congress president Sonia Gandhi was Wednesday formally named chairperson of United Progressive Alliance (UPA) with DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi proposing her name and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee seconding it.
