New Delhi, May 21 (Inditop) Delhiites can expect more freak weather Thursday, as the weatherman predicted more squalls towards the evening. Temperatures are likely to dip.

The minimum temperature recorded early Thursday was 29 degrees Celsius, two degrees above average. The maximum will hover around 40 degrees Celsius, a notch above average.

“There is a possibility of thunderstorm later during the day. Due to which temperatures are likely to dip,” said an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

“The moisture incursion and change in the pressure gradient later in the evening is likely to bring more thunderstorms to Delhi,” the official added.

The humidity level recorded Thursday morning was a high 61 percent.
