New Delhi, March 31(IANS) Director Nila Madhab Panda’s directorial debut ‘I Am Kalam’ will open the ninth edition of Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) starting April 12.
At the festival, 13 feature films, 13 short films and six documentaries will be showcased.
Smile Foundations’ ‘I Am Kalam’, is the story of a poor boy who is inspired by former president APJ Abdul Kalam.
The six-day festival, considered the biggest platform for Indian movies in the US, will take place at ArcLight Hollywood studio.
Other films to be screened include ‘Zokkomon’ and ‘Peepli Live’.
