New Delhi, May 31 (IANS) Late actor-producer Sujit Kumar’s son Jatin is set to foray into Bhojpuri cinema as a producer and has signed on actor Ravi Kishan for his debut production venture.

To be made under the banner Shiv Bhakti Films, the thriller is likely to go on floors next month.

Sujit, who passed away last year after battling with cancer, is known for playing Rajesh Khanna’s friend in ‘Aradhana’. Apart from that, he had appeared in over 150 Hindi films and also did about 25 films in Bhojpuri and had even been tagged as the superstar of Bhojpuri cinema.

Taking off from where his father left, Jatin plans to make more Bhojpuri films.

‘Kehu Humse Jeet…’ climax shot with four cameras

Director M.I. Raj is leaving no stones unturned to make the climax of his new film ‘Kehu Humse Jeet Naa Paaye’ worth remembering – he shot it with 200 fighters and four different cameras.

Touted to be one of the most expensive projects, the multi-starrer with patriotic theme, stars Ravi Kishan, Rinku Ghosh, Sushil Singh, Manoj Tiger, Mahesh Raja, and Shabaaz Khan, among others. The film has been shot in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai.

Raj had previously directed a Hindi film called ‘Ek Aur Visphot’, starring Makrand Deshpande, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Raza Murad.

‘Mal Yuddh’ action scenes shot from helicopter

The makers of Ravi Kishan starrer ‘Mal Yuddh’ hope to set new standards for Bhojpuri cinema – for the first time a helicopter has been used to shoot action sequences for a Bhojpuri movie.

‘Mal Yuddh’ promises to showcase some adrenaline pumping action. Director Chand Mehta along with actors Ravi Kishan, Rani Chatterjee and Shubham Tiwari shot the thrilling action sequences in Khandala.

Ravi Kishan says the role ‘is very close to my heart’.
