Chandigarh, June 30 (IANS) Tarundeep Singh Chadha increased his lead to two shots at the end of the third round of the Usha Chandigarh Junior Open golf tournament here Thursday.
But right behind Chadha was Yashas Chandra, whose 69 was the best of the tournament and it moved him to second place at 217 to Chadha’s 215. Manu Gandas (73) dropped to third at 219.
Among girls, Shreya Ghei (76) continued to lead and she was 228 for three days and eight shots clear of Gurbani’s (80).
In Boys B, Honey Baisoya (72-76-72) at 220 moved ahead of Viraj Madappa (75-72-74) who is at 221, while in Group C Boys, Karandeep Kochar (76-76-73) was leading at 225.
In Girls Group B, Vrishali Sinha (80) topped at 246 Ridhima Dilawari (82) second at 248. In Girls C, Amrita Anand (81) was the topper at 240 ahead of Suchitra Ramesh 257.
In Boys Group D Digraj Singh Gill (86) and Karan Pratap Sngh 83) shared the lead at 166, while Arshia Mahant (92-84) led Girls in Group D.
