London, July 1 (IANS) Socialite Nicole Richie is all set to expand her handbag line.

Richie’s – House of Harlow 1960 line – has unveiled a 14-piece handbag collection that ranges from a $150 red hard-cased crocodile print clutch to $625 taupe and ivory burn-out pony hair hobo.

‘Handbags have always been a part of the equation since we first launched the House of Harlow 1960 brand,’ femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.

‘We just needed to make sure all of the components were aligned before setting foot into that category. The collection is quite small in terms of the styles we are launching with. I wanted to make sure that each piece is special and then be able to grow it slowly and organically season after season,’ she said.

The 70’s inspired collection incorporates materials such as vintage leather, calf hair and velvet, along with fringe detailing, toggles, studs and jaguar head hardware.

The House of Harlow 1960 handbag collection will be available at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Shopbop.com.
