New Delhi, July 1 (IANS) It was a humid day in the national capital Friday as city witnessed a partly cloudy sky with average temperatures. The Met office has forecast similar conditions to prevail Saturday.
‘The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 35.6 degrees and 26.7 degrees Celsius, both normal (average) for this time of the year,’ an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum humidity was at a high of 86 percent, while the minimum was 55 percent, added the official.
The IMD said skies would remain partly cloudy Saturday. However, there is no forecast of rain.
‘The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 37 and 28 degrees Celsius,’ said the official.
