Shimla, July 2 (IANS) The southwest monsoon remained dormant in Himachal Pradesh Saturday after remaining active during the past few days.
Meanwhile, flights from Shimla resumed Saturday after nine days of closure of the airport owning to bad weather conditions.
‘There was a lull in the monsoon in most parts of the state. The past few days saw a good spell of showers,’ meteorological office director Manmohan Singh told IANS.
He said the monsoon would be strengthened in the next few days.
