Chennai, July 23 (IANS) Ashutosh Padhy, a 14-year-old schoolboy from Orissa, outplayed defending champion Dhuvaj Haria of Gujarat 59-42, 55-28, in the final to claim the snooker crown in the fourth sub-junior National Snooker championship.

Haria, who was eyeing a double after having won the billiards crown earlier in the week, had no reply to Padhy’s measured performance as the Delhi Public School, Kalinga, student in a late Friday night match that had just one foul shot.
