Islamabad, July 28 (IANS) Fourteen Indian fishermen who had inadvertently crossed the maritime boundary, were Thursday released from a prison in the Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi.

The prisoners were released from the Malir district jail, Online news agency reported.

They would leave Pakistan through the Wagah border near Lahore.

Officials said the fishermen belong to Gujarat’s Junagarh district. The Pakistan government has given each of them Rs.100 and some gifts.
