Mumbai, June 28 (Inditop.com) The advance booking for Akshay Kumar’s lavishly shot “Kambakkht Ishq”, releasing Friday, is said to have started Sunday.

“The buzz about the film was so big that Sabbir Khan (director), Sunil Lulla and Sajid Nadiadwala (producer) have decided to open advance bookings on Sunday and not Wednesday. The tickets are expected to sell like hot cakes,” said a source close to the film.

This Akshay and Kareena Kapoor starrer will be released by Eros International with 2000 prints across the world, making it one of the widest releases in recent times.

“This would include more than 1400 screens in India and about 600 overseas. It will be a combination of prints and digital format,” said the source.

“There’s been a massive buzz to boost the film. Also, with the audience getting a chance to go to the multiplexes after a gap of three months, the film is expected to shatter box office collection records,” added the source.
