New Delhi, June 29 (Inditop.com) A 35-year-old man was crushed to death by a speeding car here, police said Monday.
Mohammed Naseem, a rickshaw puller, was hit by the car from behind while he was returning home Sunday in Sarita Vihar area of south Delhi, a police officer said.
“As the car hit Naseem, he fell on the road and his head got entangled in the front wheel of the car and he was dragged for some distance before the car came to a halt,” said an onlooker.
According to police, Naseem died on the spot while the driver managed to escape.
“We have identified the owner of the car and the driver. They will be arrested soon,” the officer said.
