Mumbai, Aug 30 (IANS) A Kingfisher Airlines Mumbai-Chandigarh flight received a bomb threat call Tuesday, which later turned out to be hoax, an official said here.
The call was received after the Kingfisher Airlines flight IT-3185 from Mumbai landed in Chandigarh Tuesday afternoon.
‘All the passengers on board the flight had already deplaned when the security alert was received, while the incoming passengers had not yet boarded the aircraft,’ a spokesperson of the airline told IANS.
Immediately thereafter, the airport security agencies carried out checks on the empty aircraft and later cleared it for operations.
