London, Sep 1 (IANS) A large number of school kids in Britain are more at home when it comes to using computers than doing simple things of daily life such as telling the time or tying their shoelaces.
In a poll by online shopping site Kelkoo, it was revealed that primary school children are more likely to be able to work a computer than tell the time, tie their own shoelaces, ride a bike or even swim, the Daily Express reported.
Eighty-two percent of five to seven-year-olds own a laptop or gadgets like an iPod. But only 56 percent can tell the time, a third tie shoelaces, one in six ride a bike and less than half percent can swim, it was found.
