New Delhi, Sep 29 (IANS) A police constable was killed when two men he had arrested earlier broke into his house and fired five bullets at him, police said Thursday.
Tanveer, a constable at west Delhi’s Ranhola station, was murdered late Wednesday at his residence in nearby Nangli Vihar. One of the assailants, Pradeep, has been arrested while the other, Ravinder, is still absconding.
‘Tanveer had arrested the two in a land grab case. They killed him for revenge,’ a police officer told IANS.
