New Delhi, Sep 29 (IANS) It was a sunny and hot day in the national capital Thursday as the skies remained clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded above average, with the met office forecasting similar weather Friday.

‘The maximum temperature was 34.7 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 24.2 degrees Celsius, both a notch above average for this time of the year,’ said an official of India Meteorological Department.

Humidity levels remained between a high of 81 percent and a low of 40 percent.

According to IMD, the skies will remain clear Friday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.
