Beijing, Dec 1 (IANS) At least two passers-by were killed and more than 10 injured Thursday in an explosion in front of a bank in China, police said.
The explosion occurred around 5.30 p.m. on the sidewalk outside a branch of the China Construction Bank in Hongshan district of Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, Xinhua reported.
Initial investigation showed that the blast was triggered by an unidentified object kept outside an adjacent drugstore, police said.
All nearby roads leading to the bank were closed by police. The injured were sent to hospital but their conditions were not yet known.
