Mumbai, July 6 (Inditop.com) Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray was Monday admitted to a hospital in this Maharashtra capital following breathing problems, a party spokesperson said.
“There is no cause for worry or panic. He has been taken there for a routine check-up and he is fine,” Shiv Sena spokesman Neelam Gorhe told IANS.
In a medical bulletin of Lilavati Hospital, senior surgeon and chief operating officer Narendra Trivedi said, “Thackeray is stable, there is no cause for concern”.
Thackeray, 83, was admitted to the same hospital June 18 for complaints of respiratory problems, causing concern among family and party workers. He was discharged after six days in the hospital.
