Havana, Jan 1 (IANS) A 15-year-old Cuban boy has set numerous national records in handling a football and playing tricks with it, Prensa Latina news agency reported.

Christopher Emil Escobar from Artemisa city kicked a football 257 times in a minute while in a sitting position.

Among the results achieved by Escobar were controlling the ball for five kilometres with more than 8,500 touches, and maintaining the ball in the air for two hours and five minutes, said the National Information Agency.

Escobar now plans to try out a new record in 2012, by controlling a football with his thighs.
