New Delhi, Jan 29 (IANS) The week ended on a bright and sunny note for Delhi residents though the icy winds along with below average temperatures continued to make the city shiver. The met office has forecast a clear day in store Monday.
Sunday’s minimum temperature was recorded three notches below average at 5.3 degrees Celsius while the maximum settled a notch below average at 20.9 degrees Celsius, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 94 and a low of 32 percent.
According to IMD, similar weather is in store for the city Monday.
“There will be light mist in the morning but the skies will remain clear and sunny during the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 22 and 5 degrees Celsius,” said the IMD official.
Satuday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 5.1 degrees four notches below average and the maximum was 21.7 degrees, average for this time of the season.
