New Delhi, Jan 31 (IANS) A Delhi court Tuesday extended till Feb 14 the judicial custody of seven people allegedly involved in a bid to leak the post-graduate entrance exam paper of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences earlier this month.

The seven accused were presented before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Bansal.
Of the seven accused booked for cheating and conspiracy, police said Mohit Choudhary, 23, who hails from Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr town, was the gang leader.
Amit Punia, who passed his MBBS from Rohtak in Haryana, Kapil Kumar, 27, an MBA from Jamia Milia Islamia, and Krishan Pratap, 27, an MBA from an institute in Uttar Pradesh, are among others who have been arrested.
Posing as students, Punia, Kapil Kumar and Pratap entered the exam hall with their gadgets. As soon as the three got the question papers, they clicked pictures of the papers and sent these using mobile phones to Bhisham Singh, 27, who was operating a computer in a rented accommodation near the hall, police said.
Two other accused Sai Balender and Vimal Dangi were apprehended and presented in court Jan 13 as they had also appeared in the examination Jan 9 and taken the help of the gang.
