New Delhi, Feb 25 (IANS) After a warm week with above average temperatures, it was a pleasant day in the capital Saturday as nippy winds blew through the day and temperatures dipped below average.
The day’s maximum temperature was recorded two notches below average at 23.4 degrees while the minimum settled a notch below average at 10.5 degrees Celsius.
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 63 and a low of 22 percent.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the pleasant weather and the slight nip in the air will continue to delight the city for the next three to four days.
Sunday would be no different as the IMD has forecast that temperatures may dip further compared to Saturday.
“Skies will remain clear in the capital Sunday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 23 and 9 degrees Celsius.
Friday’s maximum temperature settled a notch above average at 26.6 degrees and the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.6 degrees, a notch above average.
