Chennai, March 1 (IANS) Two-wheeler makers Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) and TVS Motor Company closed last month with mixed sales results.
While HMSI logged impressive growth in sales figures last month as against February 2011, it was negative growth for TVS Motor.
HMSI sold a total of 206,043 units last month, up from 145,819 units sold in February 2011.
On the other hand, TVS Motor logged a total sales of 172,061 units down from 177,412 units sold in February 2011.
TVS Motor sold 168,996 two-wheelers and 3,065 three-wheelers last month as against 172,200 units and 4,212 units respectively in February 2011.
