Patna, March 1 (IANS) A Patna school student abducted eight days ago was Thursday freed from Bihar’s Vaishali district and three people, including his girlfriend, were arrested for the crime, police said.
Aditya Raj, son of a farmer and a student of Class 12 in a Patna school, was kidnapped Feb 23 from near Moinulhaque Stadium here.
Police raided a colony near Hajipur and rescued Aditya Raj, said an official in Vaishali. They said a ransom of Rs.10 million was demanded for the release of Aditya Raj.
“We received a ransom call twice in the last seven days,” said Aditya’s elder brother Sumit Kumar.
