New Delhi, March 7 (IANS) Infrasstructure major Larsen and Toubro (L&T) said Wednesday it has bagged orders worth Rs.1,454 crore across various business segments in February-March.

“Water and effluents treatment business unit has secured new orders worth Rs.579 crore from Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board. The scope includes providing combined water supply to Attur-Narsingpuram municipalities and the Vallore corporation,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
The power transmission and distribution segment bagged new orders in both domestic and international markets. The domestic orders are worth Rs.351 crore, while the international orders are valued at Rs.320 crore
The firm bagged Rs.204 crore orders from various ongoing projects in the building and factories vertical.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of the company were 1.62 percent down to trade at Rs.1,216.
