Rome, March 21 (IANS) UEFA confirmed that the Estadio da Luz stadium in Lisbon will host the 2014 Champions League final while that year’s Europa League final will be played at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.

The Estadio da Luz hosted the final of Euro 2004, where Greece triumphed over tournament hosts Portugal. The city last hosted a European Cup final in 1967, when Celtic beat Inter Milan at the National Stadium, Xinhua reported.
The new Juventus Stadium was inaugurated at the start of the current campaign and is built on the site of the club’s former home, Stadio delle Alpi.
The Allianz Arena in Munich will host this season’s Champions League final having also staged games during the 2006 World Cup, including the opening match between Germany and Costa Rica.
