Jammu, March 27 (IANS) Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra Tuesday reconstituted the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.

According to Navin Kumar Choudhary, chief executive officer of the Board, among those nominated to the panel is E. Sreedharan, former head of Delhi Metro.

The others include Sudha Murty, chairperson of Infosys Foundation, S.S. Bloeria, vice chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Shivkumar Sharma, a santoor maestro, and former Kashmir police chief Ashok Bhan.

The board manages the affairs of the revered Hindu shrine of Vaishno Devi, which received more than 10 million pilgrims last year.

The shrine is located at a height of 5,200 feet above sea level, in the Himalayan foothills.
