Agartala, March 28 (IANS) In a tragic incident, a 23-year-old woman and her two-year-old child burned to death in Tripura after a family quarrel, police said Wednesday.
Following a squabble with her husband, Sarifa Begum was set on fire at her home at Fhulbari village Tuesday night.
Sarifa’s child Jahangir, seeing his mother on fire, tried to rescue her but he was also engulfed in the flames, a police spokesman told reporters.
