Rio de Janeiro, March 29 (IANS) Flamengo midfielder Renato will soon be back on the field, team cardiologist Serafim Borges has said.
The news comes just 18 days after the player underwent heart surgery. Renato suffered from Arrhythmia, an abnormal heart beat that can be fatal, Xinhua reported.
Despite Renato’s eagerness to return to the field, the medical and coaching staff will closely observe him while he participates in isolated activities.
Renato is expected to make his return to the practice field March 29.
