New Delhi, May 3 (IANS) It was a sunny, clear day in the national capital Thursday with the maximum temperature settling a notch below average at 37.6 degrees. The met office has forecast similar weather conditions Friday.
The minimum temperature during the day was three notches below average at 21.4 degrees Celsius.
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 61 and a low of 16 percent.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather will be hot and sunny on Friday, while the skies will remain clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 38 and 22 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature Wednesday was a notch below normal at 37.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature dipped four notches below normal to 20.5 degrees Celsius.
