New Delhi, May 7 (IANS) The coordinated border management plan with Bangladesh was in operation and will help reduce cross-border violations, External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna said Monday.

Talking to reporters after his talks with Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dipu Moni, Krishna said the two sides reviewed their bilateral cooperation in trade, commerce, water resources, infrastructure, education and discussed ways to boost people-to-people contacts.
“The coordinated border management plan is now in operation,” Krishna said.
He said the two sides reviewed cooperation in power sector.
Krishna expressed hope that 500 MW power will flow from India to Bangladesh in the summer of 2013.
